Some of the best traditional Country music I've heard lately has come out of Sweden.

Wow, that’s pretty terrific. Great players and singers. Still Waters especially knocked me out!

Wow indeed. This hangs with the very best country music I've heard in the last 30 years. Everything of theirs I can find on youtube is live, and is really good.

As far as I can tell, the steel player is the same on both of these, and everything I can see on youtube from this unit - Berra Karlsson.

This version of "Beneath still waters" even puts Emmylou's superb version to shame. This is some of the best steel playing I've ever heard, such exquisite tone and tasteful phrasing!

Cina is the undisputed Queen of Swedish country music, and has been for decades. Lots of albums through the years, some can be found on Spotify. Berra, who is truly a world class player, is her brother if I remember correctly.

When that first song came on, Oh Me.
The steel player, He looks a lot like a young Jimmy Day.

According to the credits, that's the same steel player. Different instruments, and 3 years apart, but both are listed as Berra Karlsson.
