I’m long time but still novice slider - exclusively on weissenborn-style axes (Lazy River and a Larry Pogreba baritone). Pretty much in D and G and the minor variants. When I took time to expand from the ‘3 chords and a minor’ routine, I’d steer over to John Ely’s Hawaiian guitar chord locator. Brilliant programming… but it has been offline for some time. (Arrrgh)

Can anyone steer me to a similar place where you can choose a tuning (or create a custom tuning) and view slide chords? I rekon I should get some books… but for now…

Thanks!

If you have an iPhone or iPad, you can get the GuitarToolKit app, which has a chord and scale feature as well as built in tuner. You can create custom tunings too. In spite of what the reviews say, I have had this app on my phone for a few years and it works just fine.

I used to map out the neck in different tunings on paper. Then I discovered Steel Sidekick for iPad.

Another iPhone app is SteelGuitarSidekick. Easy to customize and easy to use.

I've used both John's site and SteelSideKick. But I found the best method is to just use Google Sheets to create my own spreadsheets of chords and scales.
