1. Sheba Jazz/Piano Lounge, 1419 Fillmore St. (at O'Farrell) Thursday, March 10, 7 - 10 p. m.  Instrumental jazz.  It's a restaurant as well as a bar/jazz club, and great Ethiopian food!  No cover.

2. Free outdoor concert at St. Francis Square, Saturday, March 12, 1:00 p. m. at the Tichenor Square area, 10 Bertie Minor Lane (actually behind that building, on Lottie Bennett Lane).  This is close to Geary btwn. Buchanan and Laguna.  Jazz instrumentals + original songs.

3. Bazaar Cafe, 5927 California St. (btwn. 21 and 22 Aves.), Sunday, March 13, 6:00 p.m.  Jazz instrumentals + original songs.

The Sierra shop in Petaluma is just a short drive north from SF, c'mon by if you've got some time to kill.

I definitely plan on attending at least one of these shows! This should be a rare chance to see a fine player outside of his native element.
