Cool takedown shotgun case for DIY-er

I've been cruising the inter-web looking for a hard case for my lap steel, and came across this vintage leather shotgun case that would be awesome for an old lapsteel. It wouldn't take too much work to make the interior perfect for our guitars, I'm just looking for a modern case for mine. Here's the link and a couple photos:
