1988 Fender American Standard in Torino Red - $975 shipped

Post by Ethan Seay »

This is one of the best Strats I’ve ever played. 1988 American Standard in the rare Torino Red finish. This guitar is from the good wood years, so heavy alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. The guitar has a loaded Fralin HSS pickguard in it. Steele Pole 43 in the neck, Steele pole 42 in the middle, and modern PAF in the bridge. Master volume, master tone which is on a push pull pot to split the humbucker, and a full blender knob to get sounds you could never get out of another Strat. Has vintage style cloth wiring and a treble bleed circuit installed. 5 locking tuners and a normal one (one broke during a show). Comes with a vintage Fender hard shell case that has the camouflage logo on it!

Asking $950 locally (Dallas, TX) or $975 shipped. Thanks for looking!

Please message me for more pictures.

What are the "the good wood years" for a Fender Stratocaster?
