Helping a buddy get a couple steels back up and running, and would love to hear if anyone knew the player who owned them and any particular good or bad traits of either model. Looking for a fair market value as well since I might try to pick up one of them.
If I've dated them wrong, someone please correct me there too.
The owner was named Joe Arsenault who lived in Clayton, NJ - passed away several years ago. I'm told he played a lot in the 70s-80s.
Anyway, one is a 1979 Super Pro D10 (serial #15323). The other a 1973 D10 Pro II (serial #5698). Again, I appreciate anything you might know. _________________ The Bo-Stevens (honky tonk/old country) & Tupelo Crush (Americana/rock)

The 73 model is the one to go for, no pot metal parts and the coveted one over one changer. The super pro is still a good guitar, but won't likely have the tone and reliability of the older Bud... _________________ Co-owner and operator: Emmons Guitar Co. |

Thanks, Kelcey. Appreciate the tip. I know a bit about Marlens, but honestly almost nothing of Sho-Buds other than that folks like them. Hoping someone might remember Joe as well. _________________ The Bo-Stevens (honky tonk/old country) & Tupelo Crush (Americana/rock)
