Thanks David. Heard the song in the car. Man that is a lesson on how to play fills. Sonny is the man.

Anyone know where this live version was recorded? It appears to be a Barbara Mandrell concert or TV appearance, possibly an awards show. I wasn't aware that Garrish played with either one of them. It sure would be great to hear more about it.

It was actually recorded in the studio and audience was dubbed into the recording. I’m not sure if George’s part dubbed or actually in the studio. But they did well with the same approach as Elton John’s Bennie & The Jets. 😎

I was going to guess Sonny but didn’t want to contribute something without actual knowledge. Thanks for affirming my ears.

Cool. Thanks. I was wondering if that's how it was done.

Listening to the steel parts, I could tell it's Sonny.
