Setting for Steel Guitar using a Peavey Austin 400 Amp

Post by Kenneth Smith »

URGENT! - I need help in getting my settings for my Steel using a Peavey AUSTIN 400 amp.

Connections are from Volume Pedal to Delay then directly into the front Elec. High Gain Input. Here are the options below on the panel:
GAIN
0-10 Pre Pull Bright
0-10 Saturation
0-10 Post

EQUALIZATION
0-10 Low
0-10 (Thin -Fat) Mid Shift
0-10 High Pull Thick
-12 0 +12 Presence

MASTER REVERB
0-10

Note: I am recording a gospel CD and also prefer the sound of traditional country music, NOT Country Rock. Right now I cannot get rid of the very slight distortion I am hearing through headphones. I might go back to using my Nashville 112.

ALL OPINIONS WELCOME.
