We had a great turnout for our Steel Club meeting yesterday!! The Steelers were: Kim Green, Tim Marlin, Roy Glaze, Randy K. Boyd, Bill McCumber, Nicholas VanWay, and Don Miller. We also had a great rhythm section with John L Sullivan on bass and Randall Edwards on drums. Topping it off, we had Billy Phelps, David Waters, and Special Guest Randy Floyd on guitar. Kim and Don added some fiddle, and Larry C. Schoppe, Patty Phelps, Randy Floyd, and several of the band added vocals.
We greatly missed our fiddlin’ Cajun buddy, Keith Junot, who was home trying to get his strength back after radiation. Keep him in your prayers.
As announced, we took a break and enjoyed a pot luck supper with desserts, thanks to Paul Clark, our Winter Texans, and all who brought the food!
After supper, we had an old-fashioned jam session until everyone had to leave.
Reminder: No meeting in December. We will resume in January.
