Printer driver won't

HP printer driver won;t install. Printer and PC talk to each other wirelessly. Win 10.

Your computer should be updated to the latest available security patches and .net framework first. Make sure you have downloaded the approved version of the printer driver for the bitness, version and level of Windows running on the PC. You might also try to allow Windows to download the correct driver that is signed with a security certificate.

If possible, plug the PC directly into the router with an ethernet cable until all updates have completed.

It is especially important to download the correct bitrate driver ("bitness") for your computer's hardware bus. Old 32 bit computers can only use 32 bit drivers. Most of the new hardware is 64 bits wide and only talks to 64 bit drivers.

If you were manually trying to download and update the print driver, choose the one that matches your hardware: 32 or 64 bits.
