I saw the Cowpokes at the Nashville American Legion last Tuesday and the steel player was just amazing. He was playing an early Sho-Bud through a Webb amp and his tone was just amazing. I did a Google search to find out who it was, is his name Andy Gibson? I left there amazed at his talent.

I saw them play that song last week, it was great. I should have just walked up and asked him in person about that steel but the place was crazy and I didn't want to bother him. Somebody said he played with Hank III too but I don't know. What I do know is the tone was huge, full, not sure if it was the steel or the Webb amp or both together but he had one of the best sounds I've heard live.
