Ashokan Farewell by Jay Ungar. Played on a Jedson Lap Steel Guitar from the 1970s. C6 tuning CEGACE low to high. Backing created with a Tenor Ukulele and Ukulele style bass. I hope you all enjoy,
Mike

Sounds great Mike. Love the stout, mellow tone.

Thank you Steve. That tone is mainly from the little Yamaha THR10. I just set it to the acoustic setting and record through USB directly into my PC.

Beautiful tune. Done here on my mandolin. Bonus point for not making you hear me play it on steel, bonus content with some Turkey in the Straw, which the original owner of this pristine 1925 A4 played at his infamous barn dances in Iowa in the 30s when it came out on record, and minus a couple points for my plaid on plaid fashion sense.

Very nice Marcus. I too play a little Mandolin and also have the same dress sense. No hope for either of us!
