Players, teachers and techs in western SC

Post by Jim Shultz »

Retired. Now a new player/learner in western SC (Seneca). Have searched and there are more than 200 forum members from South Carolina, but unless the member puts their town in their profile there's no way to know where they are from....

Anyway, just looking for someone who might point me to a local player or teacher, and someone local who might be able to work on setups on a PSG. Finally have a reasonable PSG to learn with and am working on getting it set up to accommodate my 6'4" frame since it was custom built for a 4'10" woman. (The legs were 17" long and the pull rods were very short - I have new ones that fit me thanks to suppliers I found via this forum!)

I am learning a lot from this forum and the web, YouTube, but could probably make leaps and bounds having someone look over my shoulder.

Love the pedal steel.

Thanks in advance for any help.
working on being retired...
So far, so good.
Telecaster, 12 String and now a Taylor, too!
Flynn SD10 now with Nashville 400

I’m in Pageland, S.C., can’t help you with the teaching, but I still do some setup work besides my work with Emmons. I’d be willing to help you out if you wanted.
Co-owner and operator: Emmons Guitar Co.
