I was remembering a really light single neck, 3/4? that Scotty made in the 80's called the SGI. It must have weighed around 30 pounds.
It was made by Mitsuo Fuji at Excel/Fuzzy.
The main problem was when using knee levers, the steel could easily move.
I think it was Tom Bradshaw designed something that stabilized steels by connecting it to the seat. That idea would be perfect for that guitar.
If anyone has a pic, I'd love to see one.

That's it! 25 Pounds in the case!
That was fast.
4 knees! I don't remember cabinet drop/hyterisis being much different than a regular pedal steel.
