I am looking at an MSA S12 with serial number 1C5969. Any clues on what year etc?

Go to MSA's Web site and send them the serial number. They have all Mr. Anderson's MSA records. They have been great at finding the Birth Date and other information on MSA guitars.

I'd guess it to be a 1978 model.

David Wright and Kyle Bennett are the people at MSA that does the record search for serial numbers.

I’ve got a maple laquer s10 made around the same time! Serial number 1C5618
It’s a tank, but has served me well. Finally getting around to changing out the pickup to get a little more top end out of it:

At 1 time I owned a MSA S10 White Formica 4X4 SN 1C2921. Mr. Anderson said, "It was born July 9, 1974".

Just wondering if anyone can help me date my MSA Classic. Serial number is 1C875. Early 70s?
