The Beach Boys were always one of my favorites groups. Loved the tight Harmonies. They came from Hawthorne CA and Fender was located in Fullerton a mere 30 miles away. I can't recall ever seeing a Beach Boy with a Fender Guitar in his hand??? Strange??? I could be wrong and if someone has a picutre of a BB playing a Fender please post it. You think Leo would have jumped on a hot local group espescially in that time period when Fender was going full bore. Maybe the BB's just didn't care for a Tele or Strat?
