Yes,I see him at every Deep South Steel Guitar show at Gulfport. The stupid coronavirus caused last year's show to be called off.Maybe Mr. Stafford will do it again this November.

Played keys for him for years, produced some stuff for him and Darlene. What a great guy Jerry is.

When is it?I will go this year.
I know Bill too. Traded him a tape duplicater machine for a very early super fine 360 systems digital keyboard in the 80s. Only Stevie Wonder was ahead of me at Tippit's music (-:
I think I know you too!

I was there one year. It was great I think I was delivering a mix for Darlene. But that was before I picked up Chet style guitar which led to pedal steel and here with y'all. A greater appreciation now!!
I will see you this year.

By my calculation, Bill is around 90 now
Bill is a very enthusiastic individual. I sure hope all of that has carried over till now! I have pm'ed him, not heard back. Jerry on the other hand is still playing weekends at around 82 or 83 by my reckoning.

I would have loved to get to Bill's shows but was always working. Now, at 83 its out.

I started playing in bands in Biloxi in 1959 (I was at Keesler AFB) and did my first recording session at Carpenter's Music studio in 1960. Also played on the Saturday afternoon Jimmy Swan country music TV show in Hattiesburg.

Hey I did my first record at Prof Carpenter's Axent Records too!
Then I opened Tippit's Music Studio in Gulport and ran it 80's to 90s.
I bet I know all the guys you know
