Hey folks I am considering acquiring this Emmons pp S10 sight unseen.

Anyone know what model/year it might be?

The pedal and lever positioning seems to be shifted - would it be a major undertaking to make this "standard"? I enjoy getting out the elbow grease.

Appreciated.

It appears to be an early 80’s model judging from the Legrande pedals on the rack. Yes, everything has been moved one pedal space toward the changer, but it’s not the end of the world to change it back.

first of all, it appears like all you need is there. I'm no PP expert, so I go on a limb here saying that shifting the position back to standard should be quite easy - loosening the rod-collars of all rods going to the pedals and left knees, unscrew the crossrod and knee lever brackets, slide them to back one pedal space, screw em back on - fine tune it to taste the rest of the week.
Experts please correct me, I'd like to learn something here!

Perhaps you should leave them as is, in case you want to add a "0" pedal at some point.

If it was sold and maintained by Clem, and nobody's hosed it up since, it's bound to be a winner.

It is currently two pedal spaces toward the changer from the standard D10 setup. S10s were setup one pedal space closer, so there is still room to add the 0 pedal even if moved back to the original position, as evidenced by the two shaft bearings open on the key head end.

Oliver is correct, the raise rods for A-B-C and LKL all appear to be the correct lengths for the pedals to be shifted back over one space. LKL was moved over also, but the original bracket holes are still visible there. It looks like LKR is still in the original position, so the left levers are very (uncomfortably) close together as it is. Pop the C pedal off the rack and move it to the other side to become A. No new parts needed, just a little time and patience.

BTW, what is the serial #?

Never played a pp, only experience I have is playing a modern GFI. I'm certainly looking forward to it.

All the existing rods for A-B-C pedals and LKL are fine to move everything over one space. Nothing new needed.

Ian, after taking a closer look: You´re right!

One thing to bear in mind if you start moving things around is to make a note of which hole in the changer finger the little wire hook is located in.

It's easy for the wires to become un-hooked during 'under the hood' work, and a headache to reassemble if you don't remember which hole they were in

Try it like its setup. You may find you like it.
