Blessed Assurance

Post by John A. Russell »

Hey All

I came across a great steeler playing "Blessed Assurance", on Youtube. The guy is Todd Clayton.

Todd is way out of my league, but he inspired me to do a version of "Blessed Assurance" too!

I have put together a 10 page tablature of the old song, by Phoebe Knapp and any forum member wanting a copy, please PM me.

I have tried to make this tab interesting and different!

The free tab is available till June 30th 2021.

Kind Regards

Being a newcomer to the PSG (1 year), I don't have a lot of experience with what good tablature should look like. However, I am certain that I won't ever find tablature as clear and professional in presentation as what John just sent me. I fully expect the content to be as outstanding as the presentation and thank you John Russell.

Beautiful rendition.

For any new players out there; if mastering this song doesn't improve your playing skills...nothing will!

Great tabs for this song. These tabs are presented very well, with words to the music corresponding with the notes on the tab. The tabs are not hand printed and are easy to read. The copedent used on the tabs is presented on the cover page. I like this.
