Great amp, only thing different from the Webb 614-E is the missing 5 band EQ, and honestly, I hardly ever use those knobs on my Webb, so no loss imho.

Great amps! I used mine last night at the Minnesota Gospel Opry. Has a 12” JBL and sounds really sweet. The GP’s aren’t as common as the standard 614-E.

Are these amps FET circuitry like the Evans?

Marty,
The Webb amps have discrete individual transistors like the Evans and it’s a toss up of which I prefer. They are both amazing amps with the Evans having a bit more clarity and the Webb having the “growl” tone. All models of Webb’s have the same preamp. They are a little more challenging EQ wise than the evans but there’s a sweet spot to be found for any setup. Junior Martin used a Webb for a long time and recorded many times. The Webb has a very distinct and unique tone that others don’t possess.

Dave, thank you for responding. I remember when Junior had that amp. When you stated that I remembered that I sat in on it. It was awesome and I remembered experimenting with the 3-position knob.
Now, do I need another amp?!? 🤔
