Emmons Push Pull knee lever disconnected

Post by John Bohannon »

Hey ya'll

So, my emmons push pulls RKL seems to be disconnected somehow. It was connected to the 1st and 2nd strings and now I'm getting nothing out of it. Any way to trouble shoot this on my own without taking it to be repaired? I imagine it could be a quick fix or something way out of my league. Sorry if this is a beginnerish question ive only had a push pull for a year now so I don't fully understand the underbelly yet. Thanks in advance

i would imagine it's a rod collar that has come loose. can you post a picture?

lots of very smart push pull folks on here....likely they'll be able to talk you through it and you'll learn a thing or two about the underbelly of the beast.

As Dave said, something slipped somewhere. Could even be a bell crank slipping on cross bar. If it’s not doing anything, I’d look at the lever it’s self and trace it from there.
