Jordan Boss Tone Fuzz - Please Close

Post by Glenn Dodd »

I bought a Jordan Boss Tone made in Nashville from The Steel Guitar Forum years ago. I gave it to my amp tech to service, but he died before he finished it and it was nowhere to be found in his shop after he died. I have a Voodoo Labs Super Fuzz copy that I hate. If anyone has a Jordan Boss Tone to sell, it would be greatly appreciated. It was the only fuzz that I loved on my pedal steel guitar.

Check out the electronics section. John Larson there just built a clone, maybe you could get him to build you one.

Michael, Thank you for the info. John gave a link to the site where he purchased the PCB board for the pedal. I purchased the PCB for less than $10. I'll try to build the pedal over the summer.

Pedal building isn’t that difficult if you follow the instructions and can solder decently. It is very satisfying and (warning) can be very addictive. I started out just modding a pedal I had and ended up building 12-15 pedals. I would finish one and couldn’t wait to start on the next one. Many of them I etched my own copper cladded pcb boards and drilled all the holes in them as well. Mouser is a great source for capacitors, resistors, and switches. Have fun.
