Moderator note: I'm merging the information from two threads on this to remove the confusion. The original poster, Gordon James, is the seller.

It's not....not a B3.

It's a BV Cabinet with A-100 Internals Which are mechanically identical to a B3.

It'd be like upgrading a Roadrunner with the Engine and cosmetics of a Superbird

Does it look like a Roadrunner? Yes
Does it have the guts of a roadrunner? Yes

Should it be called a Superbird? Probably not without a caveat....

As you can see by the pictures, at least it is not that gawd-awful orange color.

I was just telling my friend that I miss my old BV I had which was one of the last ones they made.

If you were near Chicago where I'm at, that thing would be gone, and quick. Your price is more than fair for what you have. I hope it sells!

That is a fantastic deal. If you were here in Florida, I would prolly talk myself into buying this, even though I can only play simple chords.

Always wanted a Hammond & Leslie...like a Harley, this is the REAL DEAL!
A couple D-10s,some vintage guitars & amps, & lotsa junk in the gig bag.

The Hammond Organ Company ended its production of the BV in 1949,
twenty-five years before ending its production of ~>Tonewheel Organs.

Anyone here have any experience with the Hammond XK-5?

It’s supposed to be the closest reproduction of the B3 Tonewheel organ.

I'd love to try one, but they're beyond expensive for a full kit dual manual. The technology is really cool, but hard to justify when you can get the real deal for a fraction of what they're asking for one.

I have a Nord C1 with a Neo Ventilator and it's a pretty darn good imitation that I can throw in the car and haul around. I use it for recording parts for people and haven't had any complaints yet!

I will admit that the NEO Ventilator is the best "Leslie-In-A-Box" out there. Run it through the mains and peeps can't tell the difference. "B" players are not only playing the organ but the Leslie too. Fun stuff.
