Brings back some childhood memories Doug...this song and the Perry Mason theme song were a little bit scary for me because I had to be in bed by 9:00 and these shows I believe came on at 9. ðŸ˜³. They just had an Erie melody to me then I guess...I do like both tunes and your perfection is top shelf as usual. Thanks for the trip down the â€˜Ol Memory Lane...I can just hear my late Mom telling me it was time to go to bed...ðŸŒº

Carl, I know what you mean about creepy TV theme music. The Twilight Zone always freaked me out. The Alfred Hitchcock theme was another one.

Thanks Joe, I usually stick close to the melody, in general, and then an improv section. Funny thing is, I never liked this song until I starting teaching it to my guitar students. It sounds good on guitar and I thought it might translate well to steel guitar. At first I tried playing the guitar riff on the steel, but that didn't work very well, so I played that on guitar and I played the horn line on steel.
