I lost my cd burning ability. How can I get it back.

If its a CD burning program you need, CDBurnerXP will do nicely.

Depending on the age of the hardware, some Win 7 hardware is not supported or fully supported in Win 10. However, CD/DVD drives/burners all use the built in Windows drivers, no 3rd party drivers are needed.
