Stunning! For standup use, I'd want to know the overall weight and how thick the body is (looks like standard 1.75" Tele thickness) to see how it balanced against my belly. But I want one!

I'd worry more about string spacing and neck width compared to a typical lap steel. That said, the combination of woods and metals and classic design is very compelling.

might be fun to make one like that. have made a strat lap before. for sure a sit down or put on a stand guitar.
