Vertical Knee lever extension hack

Recently bought myself a really nice used GFI.
The guitar however came with standard length legs.
I recently fitted a GFI vertical knee lever on the left knee and found that even at the lowest setting it was too high for my munchkin legs to reach!
I googled a few ideas regarding knee lever extensions But nothing was really floating my boat.
Even toyed with the idea of getting some slightly shorter legs but this was going to be too expensive.
So with a little bit of thought I came up with this idea, which requires absolutely no modification to your guitar whatsoever.
It’s a piece of delrin rod, 10 cm long 20 cm diameter with 3 x 10mm coated spring clips.
I’ve now added some O-rings that fit over the clips which makes the extension even more solid.
Total cost around $10.
I’ve been using it for over a week now and it’s rock solid and works like a charm.
It’s also really easy to remove when you need to pack the steel in its case.
