Hey guys! I bought Mud Stand from my buddy Kermit. It's a new type of amp stand that steel players especially love! My name is Kevin Armentrout and just wanted to introduce myself and check out the forum. I'm a huge country fan
and steel fan and live near Kermit in East TN. I would like to do a giveaway soon and post from time to time. Every stand i sell from the forum i will make a donation back to the forum! Also may be interested in finding an old lap steel. Be on the lookout to win a free Mud Stand!

Welcome! Where are you in East Tennessee? I'm originally from outside Knoxville, though I moved to an adjacent state. You know what they say about East Tennesseans, right? There are two kinds of East Tennesseans: Those who live in East Tennessee and those who wish they still did.

Hey, I live in Limestone. Is it big enough for two steel players?

Haha! I am actually not a steel player. I wish. I just play guitar but I would love a lap steel to learn. Anymore I don’t have time enough to play anything! I just love the sound of steel guitar. You need a good barber? I also own Hometown Barbers in Jonesborough. Come see us!

Kevin, small world. I think I had a haircut by a lady at your shop. Are you up on the hill above Jonesborough Pizza Parlor? I remember talking to you about a a flute you had made. I'm pretty sure I mentioned that I played steel. I know Kermit very well, but I don't like for the locals to find out, so please don't mention it to anybody.LOL

Haha no my shop is next to Dairy Bar. You are talking about James that makes flutes. He is a friend of mine too. I actually started out at that shop 20 yrs ago though.

Thanks for the info. I may drop in for a trim sometime when I'm up that way. My regular barber is Doyle Tunnell in Greeneville on Justice Drive.
