Hi guys, looking for some advice. I'm redoing mechanics and refurbishing a steel of mine. I'm looking to see how knee levers work with this system. Pedals I've got down but knee levers I'm fuzzy on as I'm new to learning mechanics. I should say this is going on a D10, and both necks I'm wanting to have 4 knee levers. Both would work on the same neck.

Thanks

Knee levers work exactly the same as pedals, the difference is K Levers are attached directly to cross shafts rather than PEDAL RODS which connect to the cross shafts.

What guitar are you doing this to, this is fundamental, also add a photo of the changer and the underside.

Two immediate questions,

does your Steel have cross shafts that go across the entire body ? ( front to back)

Is the changer capable of adding more rods to the existing strings ( pulls) ?

Here's a pic of the steel Liam is talking about. I of course don't redo/rebuild crossovers like Coop and Morehead did...so I can't help....and I don't know who is left alive that can direct him on making this a playable barrel tuning two hole puller 3 ped. 4 knee.....

Well first it's on a Crossover. Soon I am going to mod the heck outta this guitar as I think it could have more potential than just a 3x3. With some money and little bit of time it's possible.

The ABC will not, the other pedals on the C6(5) will be.

Yes I am able to add more rods.

My idea on this Crossover is to get rid of the middle section here as Ricky kindly dropped a picture of it for me! Also take the black paint off of the frame and polish it to a shine. Anyways, and have it setup with the two hole pullers and barrel tuning. It's a project and something to plan out, but I love working on this guitar. The mechanics just wow me for some reason.
