Topic: Need Help on a wiring of a on off on toggle switch |

Hello can would some one help me.I want to hook up 2 single coil pick ups to a on off on toggle switch to out put jack. if you could draw me a diagram of how to hook up the pickups then to the output jack. no volume or tone just to the 3 way toggle. My email is down so if possable post it here. I need help i am no wiring expert thanks this is for a double neck steel thanks. I want it to have just one neck on at a time thats why i am wanting to use a on off on toggle. any and all help needed thanks

The on off on is the wrong switch unless you DO NOT want to be able to use both pickups or want to connect them in series like a danelectro
A standard 3 way Les paul type toggle will give you neck/ both/ bridge

| Thanks guys this is for a double neck steel with one pick up per neck. and i want to have only one pickup on at a time. thats why a on off on toggle. would can someone post a diagram of how to wire it up all the way to the out put jack. this has no volume or tone pots. i tried to look on internet but it shows all these diagrams of every thing but what i am trying to do. if you would please post here my email is down. all i want is a simple wiring diagram I know nothing about wiring thanks |

The switch should have 3 polls
Center pole goes to outer pole on out put jack.
Hot wires from pickups goes one on one of the outside pole on switch and the second on other outside pole on switch.
The grounds on the pickups go to the center pole on output jack. And do a ground wire to each bridge to the same center pole on out put jack.

I assumed it was a double pickup per neck as per your previous post where you were going to use a 7 position switch.
