Here is another track where BIAB and LIVE instruments were combined. This one required a bit more attention to detail as it has TWO lead Instruments. I had to really listen to make sure they were not stepping on each other as well as the rhythm track.
The BIAB track is using a simple Mandolin "chuck" instead of drums. Mando is on the right and some sort of BIAB Acoustic guitar is on the left. They worked so I left them as is . The Bass is recorded live (Direct) at center zero point. Probably an 80 hz cut, somewhere around there.
This track I experimented with Stereo Reverb for the Steel here and there which overrides panning . I also used my favorite Tele ( 1989 /52RI) which always records well.
All outside of BIAB Instruments recorded direct, no amps.
