Great one! Swedes.

Looks like a later Sho Bud permanent the steel guy is playing--sure has a good tone.

Is that a Bigsby electric guitar the guy's playing?

Geez, how have I not heard of these guys? Just listened to at least a half dozen clips and every one a delight.

I love it. The singer reminds me of Jim Lauderdale, who reminds me of Floyd Tillman....who remind me of.....

These guys are great. A lot of attention to detail beyond the music n the clothing and design elements. I hear a Mooney influence in the steel playing.

The steel guy is a classic "flat hander"..
Style right out of 1965.Perfect fit for this band..
Really like his playing a lot- probably because I can understand it pretty well, and when I hear it I think to myself-"hey I can do that".
His wonderful band gives him a LOT of leeway, to play to his stylistic strength.. Most of us would get brow beat, and verbally abused for being.. TOO LOUD!/TOO BUSY! if we played like him in a modern USA country band. Fine classic sounding pedal steel player, with a GREAT gig that is the envy of a lot of us, I am certain... bob

And he's playing an earlier Madison permanent on that track. I like that older style of playing as well as his taste in guitars!

It’s a replica that Gretsch experimented with in the 90s I believe...,

Oh, I guess it was a lot more recent than I thought...

Well played and very entertaining music. My hats off to the band for producing this video.

Thanks to Andy for posting,
& thanks to Pat for researching the Gretsch-Bigsby prototype being played in the video.

WOW! I like this a lot. Very good country music and picking. I think the steel player is playing thru a Princeton Reverb on the clip that Lee posted?? And from Sweden no less. That amazes me! J.R. Rose

Love the Fender acoustic with the electric headstock... Not sure if its an original, but its still has the "look" of the 60's country bands we loved, to go along with thier very authentic sound... bob

At the end of that 40-minute video of a live performance I link to above, I find they have a pic of each band member. The steel player is Peter Andersson, and a search shows he has been a member on the forum since 2003. Nice playing, sir! Image

The Country Side of Harmonica Sam sound(s) wonderful. Can't help but wonder what the City Side of Harmonica Sam might sound like.

Harmonica Sam, as I’ve been told, is actually a blues artist.

Any chance they mugged The Cleverlys for those hats?

I meant to say something when this thread started. Great stuff. I have an old Fingertip that I need to do something with. Got it from Outlaw Pawn across the street from Bobbe Seymour's store right before he passed, it's been sitting in its case since then. I need to get on it one of these days. That sound he's getting on that old Bud is priceless.

Well yeah, I assume this is the guy, and he definitely does blues too. But even a lot of that straddles rockabilly too.

The Bigsby inspired guitar in this clip was built by Nashville steel guitarist and guitar builder Andy Gibson.
