This steel is about 30 yrs old. It was produced with 2 pedals and 2 knee levers. GFI can add an additional pedal for $200. It comes in a case by Plano Moulding. It have foam that fits tight around the guitar in the case. It is offers great protection and is lighter than a traditional case. If you want a traditional case, GFI has available for $250.
This steel is much more than a typical student model build. It would hold up on a gig and doesn’t have the quality issues of the student models that you would pay the same for. I took this steel out on a gig and was very impressed with the playability, no cabinet drop, stays in tune. It is light with aluminum legs and wood body on aluminum frame. Barcus Berry pickup. Not the greatest pickup but actually sounds decent.
