Can anyone tell me about this JB Frypan? Is it a Jackson/ShoBud or a Fuzzy/Excel or something else? I read the Forum thread about these guitars and I'm overwhelmed. Thank you all.

It is a short scale at 22 inches. Slants are easier on the shorter scale for me, anyway. |

How can you tell one from the other?
I know mine is a Byrd/Sho~Bud model.

There doesn’t appear to be a certificate with this instrument. Doesn’t matter to me. I just need to know which version/manufacturer this is. You all seem to feel it is clearly a Fuzzy made JB. I’m good with that. I prefer that in fact. I just need to get hold of it. The seller is not responding. |

From your pictures I think I'm seeing the texture in the finish which is what Excel did. Also the images of the Shot Jackson/ShoBud made ones I see have slotted openings for the pickup screws, while the Excel frypans look like yours. |
