Emmons LeGrande II, 8+8, Black **Sold**

Post by Mark Wayne »

Emmons LeGrande II, 959L, black D10, 8+8, fully functional and solid, just recently adjusted and fine tuned by Charlie McVay, who has accomplished superb work on several of my guitars, since 1995.

This guitar has been my studio guitar, kept in a smoke-free environment. Very clean, and has the genuine, clear, silky, bell tone that the Emmons' have.

Standard Emmons setup on E9 and C6, with several extra changes on the C6th knees. Standard height and standard knee lever placement, with split on E9, 6th string. Very easy pedal action.

Single coil pickups wound at 19.5k on E9th, and 18.4k on C6th. Pedal action is very smooth, and knee stops are solid, with split on 6th string. Case has a couple cosmetic blemishes (tape residue), but is solid.

Sorry, no trades.

Will ship from 54487, but I'll split the actual shipping cost to anywhere in the lower 48.

Thank you Doug and Allen. It really is an easy playing guitar, and sounds like an Emmons should.

Thank you so much Charlie and Clyde.

Charlie really is a real guru on setting up a steel for optimum playability. And he did that with this steel.
