Emmons Lashley LeGrande pedal steel guitars, advice needed

Hello everybody, thanks for having me here. I am looking for advice regarding two Emmons Lashley LeGrande guitars that I am trying to sell for a friend. He inherited these instruments but, although he plays a little guitar, he has no idea regarding electronics, dating etcetera, so that's why he asked me. By the way, the guitars are located in Hamburg, Germany.
From what I can tell both guitars are in really good shape, and complete. Both are single neck, have three pedals and four knee levers, and come in what appears to be the original case. They're probably LeGrande I models, however I'm not familiar with the ways do identify different models.
I already found out that they both appear to be SD10 models, the blue one (#1069L) was probably produced in 1966, the one with the oak finish (#1141L) in 1967, which seem to make them early Lashley LeGrande guitars.
I have attached a few pictures of both instruments; 7 images of the '66 guitar, and 6 images of the '67 guitar. For anyone interested, I do have more pictures available though.
Any help, tips and advice would be very much appreciated

Hi Peter
The LeGrande steels were introduced in 1980 , approximately , and those two steels would be early 90's or so. Seeing as they have the 14 hole bell cranks. Jerry

Hello Jerry, thanks for your reply. Indeed I already noticed the serial numbers don't say too much regarding when an instrument was made, or to which series it belongs. So probably early 90's, thanks. Any suggestion regarding specific model number or specifications, or value?

Those a very nice guitars . What they are worth in Europe and what they would sell for in Canada , where I live , might be two different things. But I would say they are worth about $2750 US$ each . But you should really get a more knowledgeable opinion , they could be worth more than that in Europe . Of course it depends on the condition and playability as well. Jerry

They are really nice steels.
If you can locate an experienced player to evaluate them local to you, that would be best. You can search Members link above by location. You have to ask around for any parts needed but I just got LLG pedals/cross shafts on US Ebay.
Also, maybe a little cleanup, vacuum the case, go over the pull rods with 0000 synthetic steel wool or something mild to remove spots, etc

Hi Peter,
As has been mentioned, Emmons Lashley LeGrande guitars are really good..
I have a D-10 with 8&4 and 14 hole bellcranks, that I purchased brand new in around 1992.
Yours look to have been built around the same time, approximately.

I'd price them at 3000 Euros to start, based on what I've seen of EU prices. You can always lower the price, but you can't really raise it! Just my opinion.

Then you done good! At least I was well above the $2700 USD someone else tossed out (although that was North American price)! Haha! Congrats to your friend. And maybe if I ever need to sell my Millennium, I should fly to Europe with it!
