Tennessee Waltz

Post by John A. Russell »

Hey all.

I recently found a Steeler on Youtube that I
had never heard before. "Johan Jansen".

I asked his permission to tab one of his
Songs from his Country CD, and offer free to
Forum members. Tennessee Waltz. He gave me permission.

He also told me of a 12 track Christmas CD he is
releasing shortly. He is also supplying a full
Tab book too!

As you all know, I like to promote steelers
And bring their work to others attention.

If anyone will leave a comment for Johan, here : -

https://youtu.be/KX_xUN4VhPM

And let me know, I will send the free tab to you.

Don't forget to include your email address.

Kind regards.

Hi John,
I have placed a few words on the site as you stated and what a wonderful melody. He has made this classic even more exciting and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This is simply the best I have ever heard this classic played on pedal steel. He is a tremendous player and deserves much more attention and credit.

Yes John I would love to try this melody and hopefully be able to play it a little bit but he is inspirational.

BEST WISHES and thanks musician40@hotmail.co.uk

I’ve just caught up with this post!
One of my favourite melodies for many many years,
This is a fantastic heart rendering rendition of what must be one of the best waltzes in country music if not in music generally!
I would love a copy of its transcription

Thanks John, I would love a copy of the tab for Tennessee Waltz, I left a comment praising him after listening to his Youtube post. I bought his Johan Jansen - Country Love Songs On Steel Guitar CD and was not disappointed, it's great. So, having the tab will put a smile on my face, thank you John.
