Just watching Matlock S2 Ep10 - country singer accused of a hit-and-run. Plenty of steel in the the first scene. Who is the player? There's at least one clear shot of him. Episode first aired 1987 _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!

Someone asked the same question here not too long ago, I don't think anyone had the answer.

This Doug/Earnest/Bovine thing has been confusing but I have it now. Nothing to do with Doug Earnest.
And all because my wife was watching an old legal soap! _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!
