I need to replace a broken toggle switch on a Fender T-8. It's not the main 3-way neck selector switch, but the toggle switch that allows all three necks to be on at the same time.
The broken one has four lugs on it, two on each end, so I'm not really sure what I'm looking at here.
Any advice would be appreciated!
As you can see the toggle part is completely gone:

Ely's wiring diagram for a T8 shows one: https://www.hawaiiansteel.com/graphics/pdf/fender_stringmaster_3neck.pdf
It's labelled "SPDT Switch" but the diagram actually shows a DPDT on/on toggle switch, wired like this (lug side shown). Your original with just 4 lugs might actually be a DPST, and if you can find one just ignore the vacant top row on my diagram (lugs 1 and 4). Lugs 2 and 5 are the swing contacts:

Thanks so much y’all. This helps a bunch.
Jerry, the original broken switch is a Carling. I will order one of those bad boys. 😉 _________________ Tommy Detamore
