My 2 New Adams Resonator Guitars!!

Post by Marty Broussard »

I just took delivery of the two guitars below.

The purple one is an 8-string Spider model. The black one is an 8-string Tricone model. Jim built them promptly and updated me often regarding the progress of the builds. They both are LOUD and sound awesome in their individual configurations.

Thank you Jim for helping me complete my herd.

This is a pic of my herd of Adams guitars.

The natural maple one on the right started as a 7-string Spider model. Jim and I modified it with the Fluger electronics and installed the Hipshot Trilogy on it. No feedback worries on loud stages and flexible tuning alterations on the fly. That guitar is remarkably stable due to Jim’s bracing efforts. The bridge and roller nut assemblies were built by Gary Rittenberry via some drawings I supplied to him.

@L.Bogue,
I’ll start with an extended G(dobro) tuning on one and C6th on the other. But there will likely be extensive experimenting. LoL
