My debut album, featuring Lloyd Green, Russ Hicks, & others

Post by Cody Campbell »

I've been a forum member for about 16 years, and I've been a Lloyd Green fan and Russ Hicks fan for even longer; and i have never in my life been more overjoyed than i am to announce the great fortune i had of those two heroes of mine recording with me on some of my original songs. What a dream come true! I am trying my very best not to take for granted what a blessing it is that they graced my songs with their talents and graced the recording experience with their beautiful personalities.

Lloyd played on 4 songs, all of them vocal numbers. Russ played on one tune, an instrumental called "Two Hats". Most of the songs on the EP have steel on them, and all of those that do are in the traditional country&western vein.

Here's one of the songs that Lloyd played on; it's my favorite tune on the album, and he said it's his favorite as well:

Sorry to you all for the inconvenience, but the rest of the album cannot be heard online at this time. It can however be purchased at my online store. Here's the link to that:

Thanks for listening!

P.S. Some of the other musicians that played on the album are Wayne Moss, Billy Contreras, and Andy Reiss (yep, there's a swing tune on the album!) :D
