Last Friday I had a gig to and while tuning, I noticed something strange.
The bandleader to play an E chord. I did so however, when I engaged the Aand B pedals with the bar on the 7th feet there were some discrepancies on being in tune. Now,I was tuned to 440 with the strings tuned 12 cents flat. He was tuned at 440. In order for me to be tuned equally to him I had to play with my a half step higher. I don't know what the problem could be.

Are you talking about how the notes register on your tuner when you play at the 7th fret, or are you actually hearing things out of tune when centered over the 7th fret? If you're using a "sweetened" tuning like a Peterson preset, this will only work on open strings (with and without pedals and levers). The offsets are based on the intervals of the notes at the nut, nowhere else.
