For many years I have owned and used Tabledit software for other stringed instruments. I've decided to tab a few pedal steel E9/C6 songs.

Really struggling with Tabledit to learn how the software handles pedal changes. Time-consuming and frustrating.

What do you use to tab pedal steel? Or, is there a training session somewhere that teaches Tabledit for pedal steel? Tabledit's Instruction page wasn't very helpful for me

I useTabledit as well, not simple but trial and errors work in the end. Also the developer matt0308@tabledit.com is very responsive, go to their forum and you'll find some of the clues.

Hope that helps.

I recently obtained the software and have been gradually figuring it out. let me know if I can help you out.

the only thing I haven't really figured out is how to save a copedent permanently. I've been forced to enter it manually each time I create a new document.

Not familiar with the software, but is it possible to save a finished file as a "template" and then just open and modify what you need for a different song the next time?

I'm used to Guitar Pro but they haven't added functionality for Pedal Steel so I guess I'll buy Tabledit after christmas. Mainly to jog my memory and tab stuff as I learn.

I was hoping there might be a Black Friday sale but no luck!
