Hello all,

I've received a pair of PSG legs and am wondering which brands of PSG use legs that have straight knurled locking collars.

Your thoughts please.

Quite a few pedal steel brands use those. I had heard that at one time there were only one or two manufacturers making legs. Atlas was the main one I believe.

Yes, ShoBud use to cut atlas mic stands shorter and press in a threaded plug in the cut off end. RP

Those look like old Dexco legs. We all used them for many years.

There is no way to tell the age of your legs.

Thanks Guys!

What brand of legs are you using on the newer steels you're building? Or do you build your own?

Legs have always been a hard item to obtain for builders. We have had our own produced for us. Some Companies make their own though as well. I think Dexco supplied us from the late 90's to around 2010ish. Atlas mic stands before that. Many builders work together to order leg shipments.
