I have a 6 string lap would like to get an ideal of what it's worth has some mar on body mainly back sunburst color made in China with Gretsch gig bag. Will try to get pics up by week end. Thanks Wes

If it’s a Gretsch G5700, the suggested retail price is $399 USD.
We’d have to see pictures to guess how much less your used instrument would be worth.

These are easy to come by and are not particularly desirable. Nothing wrong with them at all, but they’re not something that collectors want, and they’re too “entry level” to get interest from advanced players.
I’d say $300 tops & $200 for a quick sale. If it were mine, I’d post it on my local Craigslist at $300–then take a lower price. How low would depend on how badly I wanted to move it out of my house.
