What kind of guitar??

Post by Jim Hussey »

Chasing a Youtube thread of the song You're Still On My Mind and came across this Lee Ann Womack cut from the Marty Stewart show. Looks like Mr Beavers, but what kind of guitar? Interesting changer. Break starts at 1:26:

Good Grief! What a song, what a singer, what a group of musicians. Sends chills Randy.

Now that's country and that's exactly how it's done!

I defer to Randy, but that looks like an Encore from what I can see and sounds like pure heaven.

Thanks for posting this Jim. This goes to the top of my listening list now.

Edit: Well, I was close. I defer to Fred, Doug and Matt concerning it being a one off pre-Encore design.

Not completely sure it's the same guitar, but here's a thread about a Zum that was made for Randy from a while back:

Jim, that was a "one of a kind" Zum, Encore/Hybrid.

PS, you beat me to it Matt at the same time "6:09"

Randy can make them all sound great. Notice how regardless of what amp, he sounds fantastic.
