Anything happening in Nashville ?

I have the opportunity to spend some time in Nashville, mid-August, before or after a trip to Gatlinburg. I know nobody has a crystal ball, but is anything open ?

Most restaurants and limited live music (duos) ?

It’s an odd time to plan a Nashville vacation. What can I expect to be happening ?

If it’s anything like New Orleans, there’s not much to do, and that’s Just the way It is. An awkward time to expect a normal visit.

Thanks, and stay safe,
Steve

Thanks Joe.

It’s hard to complain about not being able to see live music, knowing the burden of not being able to work for Nashville players is so much more severe than my situation.

Here in New Orleans, tourism is pretty much our only industry, so it’s tough here as well.

I was hoping to stimulate the local economy a bit.

Thanks again for the response, and best of luck to you all.

Steve,
That last 5 weeks in Nashville I’ve played 4 gigs on Steel. To me, that means it’s picking up and have already picked up 4 more gigs.

Still, some parts of Nashville doesn’t allow a full band yet (Davidson county).

You’re welcome to call me when you’re coming to town and I’ll let you know some places you can go. I will PM you my number.

Ron
