I'm not big on writing reviews, but I wanted to share my great experience with GFI, and Bob Diekmeier. About 5 months ago I bought a used GFI Ultra 12 string through the Forum. Soon afterwards, I noticed that the top seemed to be pulling up near the keyless tuners. I wrote GFI to ask if they could offer any advise on how best to repair the top. Bob immediately wrote back and said that it would most likely be a warranty issue. I told him that I was not the original owner, and the guitar was about 20 years old. He told me to send it to him, and he would reimburse me for the shipping. Within 2 days of receiving the guitar, Bob wrote to inform me that he had my guitar on the bench, and offered to straighten up the under carriage as it was in his words, "a bit of mess". When I received the guitar, the undercarriage was spotless, parts were replaced, the top was repaired, Bob had changed a couple of the knee levers around, and it plays great!
That is service that goes above and beyond. Thank you Bob, and GFI guitars.

Bob helped me out this last week too. You just don't get that kind of service anymore! This is why I have a GFI!

Bob has helped me several times with my GFI Expo. I took it to his shop once not long ago for a squeak I could not find. He worked on it for the better part of an hour, then he even have me several small parts in case I ever needed them. He wouldn't let me pay him a dime. Needless to say, I'm a GFI man for good.
