Playing the chorus to Geo Strait, It Just Comes Naturally, I discover the following;
F chord at the 8th fret A & B pedal down
F#dim at the 7th fret lkl
Gm at the 6th fret A pedal only
F at the 8th fret A&B pedal
Eb at 6th fret A&B pedal
This is probably no revelation to most of you but it opened up something for me so I thought I'd pass it along.
This also works for the common F F#dim Gm or (Bb) to C7 chord pattern.
Now tell me how many better ways there are to do it??

Are we to assume that your lkl is the lever that raises the E's to F?

R..if you are getting the F#dim at 7, I have to assume it is with your F lever.
The bridge chords look right to me. If I remember the passage correctly, Paul is sliding up to each chord. Your positions are fine and economical as far as bar movement.
As an alternative you could start at the F 8th AB, slide up to F#dim @ 10 F lever, slide up to Gm @11 E lever, then F @ 13, then resolve going up to Eb at either 14 A pedal & F lever or down to Eb @11.

Now if you figure out his solo fills after the first bridge...let me know Image

thanks bo, I'll give that a try, the movement up the neck should be very effective.

btw .. you can find inversions of those chords at 13 except for Eb which is either at 11 or 14
[This message was edited by Bo Borland on 20 December 2006 at 03:32 PM.]
