I have used a cheap 7/8 tone bar for years, don't even remember what brand it is. I just bought a 15/16 12 string john hughey bar and don't know why I haven't bought one before.it has the best feel and incredible tone and sustain, the upper register "hughey land" is just out of this world! My hat is off to Butch Gardner great man to deal with and truly the absolute best tone bar! 👍 Tim Henley

Not sure why you've posted in the electronics section, but yes they are great bars - the best according to many people

I use a 15/16th John Hughey 10 string bar and it's hard to beat!
It's a toss up between this bar and a zirc. :D

Yes Tim,
BJS is hard to beat! Butch is obviously a Master Machinist and made me my most recent BJS bar which is a 1” John Hughey 10 string model. Bought my first BJS bar from a fine gentleman by the name of Bill Stroud who started BJS. Carl
